Docker Desktop for Mac Update Issue

Docker Desktop for Mac Update Issue

Greetings! Our IdeaNova team wants to always keep our clients up-to-date with latest technology news. This includes issues we find that we want our customers to know about.

Recently our team discovered a file mounting issue after updating to Docker 3.0.0 on Mac that some users might have experienced with earlier versions as well. You might see errors like “mount denied” or “mounting file does not exist” while they do exist.

By disabling the “Use gRPC FUSE for file sharing” in Experimental Features, the issue will be fixed.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Start by clicking to Docker Desktop Icon in the taskbar. Choose Preferences.

Click Experimental Features tab. Toggle off “Use gRPC FUSE for file sharing”. Click Apply and Restart.
